Welcome to the 2021-2022 Ambassador Showcase!
BACKGROUND: Systems Thinkers in STEM (STiS) began in 2018 with the creation of career-connected resources for students to learn about the many unique STEM careers available in the Puget Sound area. In 2021, we extended this series by offering virtual learning experiences for high school students across the world through a Systems Thinkers in STEM Ambassadorship (STiSA).
In 2021, 288 students participated in the first Tier of the program to learn about systems. From there, 191 students moved forward with a Tier 2 course in one of 9 different cohorts. Over the course of eight months, we showcased over 50 of these 191 Ambassadors, each with their unique skills sets, extended projects, and new resources. All is displayed on our website and social media. Follow along through #STEMsystemsthinkers or via our social media channels which can be found at the bottom of this page.
