Systems Thinkers in STEM Ambassador – Environmental Stewardship and Human Health

My name is Martin Ho, and I am a senior at Newport High School. I am passionate about biology and business, aspiring to merge these fields to develop innovative solutions that improve lives. I am particularly intrigued by the intersection of science and the healthcare industry, where I aim to apply my knowledge of biology and business to address challenges and create meaningful change.

Observing the varying safety and effectiveness of water treatment systems in different regions heightened my awareness of water quality issues. These encounters deepened my curiosity about the complexities of water systems and their critical effects on health, ultimately inspiring my passion for this research project.

In my free time, I love traveling, playing my saxophone, staying active with friends, and trying new restaurants.
