I am passionate about caring for and advocating for the environment and learning more about it. I hope to pursue environmental science as a career, and so am looking into biology as a general major. During my ambassadorship, I worked with a data set about features of water quality. I used various techniques to identify what chemicals in water were most important in making water more or less potable. This helped me understand how statistics and data science are enjoyable and can be useful to my environmental science goals. A potential new career goal for me is to combine data science with environmental science, and go into the field of bioinformatics.
