Hi! My name is Gia Gurgone and I am a senior in high school. I reached out to ISB because I am passionate about research and bioengineering. I am planning to major in biomedical engineering next year and hopefully go on to do research in the field of biomaterials. The STiSA helped me learn more about bioengineering, and I learned to consider aspects of my career that I hadn’t thought about before, such as sustainability and cost effectiveness.
