Hello! My name is Alexia Badoiu and I am a high school senior from Bucharest, Romania. I am very passionate about STEM and scientific research from a very young age. My favorite topics within this area include, but are not limited to, Neuroscience, Bioengineering, and Mathematics. Other interests that I have are Film and Education. Being an Ambassador in the Systems Thinkers in STEM program was a wonderful experience where I got the chance to connect with people from all over the world, learn more about Bioengineering, and develop my research at home with algae, something that I was not very familiar before joining the program. It gave me a closer look at what it is like to work in this field, something that helped me in my journey as a future scientist.
