– Systems Medicine

My name is Nina and I am a senior at Lincoln High School. This program with ISB has allowed me to explore my interests in connecting medicine with community. It has inspired me to try to find more programs related to biotechnology and medicine including Project Biotech with shoreline community college and I aim to pursue a career in medical device research and development. My project was on the FDA medical device certification process and specifically on loopholes companies use to push through unsafe devices which I hope brings awareness to this issue and helps push for change.
